KarressMe.com (“KarressMe”, “we”, “us”) operates the website https://karressme.com and the KarressMe mobile app (together, the “Service”), including The Love Game. The Service is for adults aged 18 and over only.

1. Information we collect

Account and profile information. When you register and build your profile you give us your name or username, email address, password, and the profile details you choose to add, such as your headshot and full-body photos, optional additional photos and a short video introduction, country, gender, occupation, likes and dislikes, what you are looking for, and your status (for example “Open for a Date” or “Friends Only”). You may also complete a compatibility profile.

Activity in the Service. The Love Game activity (dates, friend requests, engagement and marriage milestones), community feed posts, comments, blog posts, messages, gifts you send or receive, consent gate settings, challenge participation, and reports you make or that are made about you.

Purchase information. When you buy digital items (the engagement ring, the wedding band, or digital gifts and gift packages), we record what was bought, the amount, the date and the people involved. Payments are processed by PayPal. We do not receive or store your full card number or PayPal password.

Comments and website data. If you leave a comment, we collect the name, email, IP address and browser information entered or sent with it, to help prevent spam. An anonymized string made from your email may be sent to the Gravatar service to check for a profile picture.

Device and log data. IP address, browser or device type, pages viewed, and cookies needed to keep you logged in and the Service secure. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. We may use website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand how the Service is used; these tools may collect usage data through cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

2. How we use your information

• To create and run your account and show your profile to other members
• To operate The Love Game and the community features
• To process purchases and deliver digital items and gifts
• To send service messages and notifications, such as friend requests, date updates and receipts
• To moderate content, review reports, prevent fraud and spam, and enforce our Terms & Conditions
• To improve and secure the Service
• To comply with legal obligations

3. What other members can see

Your profile, status, photo, posts, comments, and gifts you choose to share may be visible to other members, depending on the privacy and consent settings available in the Service. Members can see who is “Open for a Date” or “Friends Only.” Content you post publicly can be seen, copied or shared by others. Please don’t post information you want to keep private. Profiles and member lists are visible only to logged-in members, not to the general public.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that help us run the Service: web hosting (IONOS), email delivery, PayPal for payments, and the spam and avatar services described above.
• Authorities or others when we believe disclosure is required by law, or necessary to protect the safety and rights of members or the public.
• A successor if KarressMe is sold or merged, under this policy.

5. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and secure the Service. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the Service may not work.

6. Safety, reporting and moderation

Members can report other members or content, and we review reports. We may remove content and suspend or remove accounts that break our Terms & Conditions. We may keep records of reports and enforcement actions to protect members.

7. Retention and deleting your account

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time: log in, go to My Profile, find Delete Account, and confirm by typing DELETE. This permanently deletes your photos, profile information, messages, likes and connections, and cannot be undone. If you cannot log in, email info.support@karressme.com from your registered address and we will delete it for you. We may keep limited records we must retain for legal, tax, fraud-prevention or safety reasons (for example purchase records and report history).

8. Your choices and rights

You can view and edit your profile at any time, and control who can contact you and which activity is visible using the settings available in your account. Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK or California), you may also have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data. 9. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including password protection and secure connections. No online service is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password and never share it.

10. International users

Our servers and providers may be located in the United States and elsewhere. By using the Service you understand your information may be processed there.

11. Changes to this policy

We will post updates on this page and change the effective date. If changes are significant, we will notify you in the Service or by email.
